Note:

1.A dose of Hepatitis B Vaccine within 12 hours of birth is essential to prevent of mother to child transmission.

2.If Hepatitis B Vaccine is given at birth remaining doses can be given at 6,10,14 weeks or alternatively 6 & 14 weeks.

3.Combined DTPw/Hepatitis B/H1b vaccines can be given at 6,10, 14 weeks.

4.BCG, OPV and Hepatitis B vaccines, when missed at birth can be started at the completion of 6 weeks.

5.for Typhoid immunization, earlier age recommended: Whole cellVaccine at 6 months, Vi antigen at 2 years and Oral Ty21a vaccine at 6 years. Booster dose every 3 years.

6.In addition to routine OPV doses the recommended 'Pulse OPV dose' are also mandatory during PPI campaigns.
