Due date calculation:
The standard method to calculate your official due date is to count ahead 280 days from the first day of your last menstrual period(LMP).

A second method for calculating your due date you can probably do in your head! Just take the date(day number) of your LMP and add 7, then subtract 3 months.

Example:

LMP(Last Menstrual Period): January 1
Add 7: January 8 (1+7)
count back 3 months: October 8.

Note:
The due date is based on a 28-day menstrual cycle and usually not all women have 28-day cycles. The due date result is only an approximation. Your actual delivery date could change up to two weeks before or after this date.
Also refer the Recommended Dietary Intakes for females during pregnancy.
